Gazprom Neft can boost hydrogen output to 250,000 tns by 2024
MOSCOW, Aug 3 (PRIME) -- Russian oil producer Gazprom Neft will develop hydrogen production and transportation technologies and will more than double output of the gas to 250,000 tonnes by 2024 from the current 100,000 tonnes, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Gazprom Neft has entered the council of industrial partners of consortium Technological Hydrogen Valley. The company will participate in the projects of production, transportation and use of hydrogen, and recycling of carbon dioxide," the company said.
Sibur, Russian Railways, Severstal, Rosatom, TMK and other companies are also participants of the consortium.
